The proposed contract requires the provision of regular maintenance, clean-up, and minor repairs of the nine (9) recreation sites listed below. All sites are located west of the City of Williams Lake, and are geographically located in the East Chilcotin region, between the communities of Riske Creek and Tatla Lake. All sites are accessed by Highway 20 and gravel roads; some sites may require the use of a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Mackill Lake Recreation Site is a walk-in-only recreation site, a distance of about 1 km. The locations of each site are shown on the recreation site map included with the tender package. More detailed information, including access and campsite descriptions and photographs, is available online Recreation Site Name: Fletcher Lake Recreation Site Palmer Lake Recreation Site Alexis Lake Recreation Site Pinto Lake Recreation Site Puntzi Lake Recreation Site Pyper Lake East Recreation Site Tatla Lake West Recreation Site Two Lake Recreation Site MacKill Lake Recreation Site (walk-in-only site, ~1km) The Contractor will visit each site at the minimum frequency identified in the tender documents for removal of garbage and sanitation of outhouses, except on long weekends where the sites shall be visited on the day before the weekend commences and the first day following the weekend. During each visit the Contractor shall also conduct minor facility repairs as necessary and clean the site of any litter. The Contractor may also be required to inform visitors of the rules for use of the recreation site, including the maximum stay duration of 14 days. Major repairs to facilities shall be reported to the ministry and may be carried out under an hourly rate agreed upon by both parties, as per contract conditions (see "Additional Work").
