Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Azle, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; and for the renovation of a educational facility.
*As of July 6, 2022, a design/builder has been awarded. Please email bids@steelefreeman.com for access to the bidding portal. Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2022. Plans call for the construction of three additions- welding shop, science lab/ storm shelter and kitchen, as well as renovation of the cafeteria and existing science labs. Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, Subchapter F, it is the intention of the Azle Independent School District to select, via a Two-Step Request for Construction Management-at-Risk qualifications process, a Construction Manager (CM) for projects resulting from the November 2021 Bond Referendum: additions and renovations at the existing Azle High School, including science lab additions, kitchen addition, welding shop addition, science lab renovations, and cafeteria renovations.
