Plans call for the construction of three additions- welding shop, science lab/ storm shelter and kitchen, as well as renovation of the cafeteria and existing science labs. Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, Subchapter F, it is the intention of the Azle Independent School District to select, via a Two-Step Request for Construction Management-at-Risk qualifications process, a Construction Manager (CM) for projects resulting from the November 2021 Bond Referendum: additions and renovations at the existing Azle High School, including science lab additions, kitchen addition, welding shop addition, science lab renovations, and cafeteria renovations.
