For this project, the contractor shall posses Classification "A" General Contractor License or Class "C32" Parking and Highway Improvement Contractor License with Class "C31" Construction Zone Traffic Control Contractor License, at the time the contract is awarded. A contractor is prohibited from working on this contract with any subcontractor who is ineligible to perform work pursuant to Section 1777.1 or 1777.7 of the Labor Code This project is a federally assisted project and Davis-Bacon (DBRA) requirements will be strictly enforced. Federal Labor Standards provisions HUD-4010 will be incorporated into the successful bidderas contract. The project consists of the development, construction, and installation of 5.1 miles of Class III (Bike Route), Bike Lane Striping & Signage, 1 Bike Rack, 1 Bike Repair Station and 1 Hand Sanitizer Station. Class III is a bikeway on which a separate lane or path is either not feasible or not desirable. The rightmost lane of a bicycle route is shared by bicyclists and cars. The lane will be marked with signs, green sharrow stencils painted in the traffic lane, route signage, directional, distance signage for cyclists. As part of the Work, the Contractor shall furnish and assume full responsibility for everything required for the orderly progress and proper execution and completion of the Work, whether temporary or permanent and whether or not incorporated into the Work including, but not limited to, drawings, materials, equipment, labor including subcontractor, transportation, construction equipment and machinery, tools, and other facilities, incidentals, and performing all operation necessary and required in conformity with the requirements in the specifications and plans. The Contractor shall perform and complete assigned work including all demolition, construction services, supervision, administrative services, coordination of all Subcontractors, tests, inspections, and other items that are necessary to and appropriate for the finishing, equipping and functioning of the facilities and structures, together with all additional, collateral and incidental work and services required for the completion of the provision of the Work. The City reserves the right to accept the bids and the alternate bid or reject the bids.
