Sewer System Rehabilitation The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or before a date to be fixed in the written Notice to Proceed given by the OWNER to the CONTRACTOR and to fully complete the Base Bid within 45 consecutive days of the start date fixed in the Notice to Proceed, and re-test inspection within 15 consecutive days of commencement of re-test inspection; or if the Base Bid and Alternate Bid No. 1 is selected, within 60 consecutive days, and re-test inspection within 20 consecutive days of commencement of re-test inspection. The CONTRACTOR further agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $1,500 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter during which the work has not been fully completed, as provided in the Liquidated Damages provisions of Section 00800, SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS.
