1381.069 The Project includes the following Work: Reconstruction of 8th Street, 14th Street, and Locust Lane; pavement replacement of 9th Street; and sidewalk construction on Lueders Road. The Work generally consists of 2,900 tons of asphaltic concrete pavement; 4,600 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter; 25,700 square feet of concrete flat work; 2,400 linear feet of ductile iron water main and appurtenances; 1,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer and appurtenances; 800 linear feet of storm sewer, grading, traffic control, erosion control, and other miscellaneous items. This Project is part of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Local Road Improvement Program. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. The Village of Prairie du Sac reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Job No - 1381.069 Completion of Remaining Work: After Substantial Completion, if CONTRACTOR shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the Contract Time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) for completion and readiness for final payment, CONTRACTOR shall pay OWNER $1,000 for each day that expires after such time until the Work is completed and ready for final payment. This amount is comprised of $500 per day for engineering, construction administration services, and construction observation services, and $500 per day for administration, labor, expenses, and other costs that will be incurred by OWNER.
