The project includes demolishing the current water standpipe and hydropneumatic tank, replacing the pumps, and adding variable frequency drive control to the pump station. Questions Due Date Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions May 23rd 2025, 5:00 PM CDT Work of the contract is to modify the Stone Oak Pump Station and convert it into an emergency back-up pump station. Construction sequencing shall be closely coordinated and scheduled by the Contractor to minimize actual facility shutdown duration. Once the Contractor submits his Construction Plan; a Schedule Refinement Meeting will be required with the City of Round Rock, TX to discuss allowable facility shutdown and when the interconnect of Pressure Zone 1071 will be required with the Brushy Creek Regional Water Authority. Same coordination will be required for the City of Georgetown connection. Generally, the work consists of the following: 1. Mobilization, bonds, and insurance by the Contractor to initiate project start-up, as specified in Contract Documents. 2. Storm water pollution prevention plan and storm water control measures during construction as specified in Contract Document. 3. Demolition and removal of items as shown in the Drawings including the demolition of the one million-gallon standpipe and the 8 feet diameter x 38 feet long, 15,000 gallon hydropnuematic tank and foundations, air compressor and piping as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. 4. Remove the four (4) existing booster pumps and replace with new booster pump skid containing three (3) high flow pumps and one (1) low flow pump including associated process mechanical piping, valves and appurtenances, electrical, and instrumentation and control work as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. 5. Installation of new electrical equipment including new generator, automatic transfer switch, and manufacturer pump control panel as shown on the drawings and specified herein. 6. Yard piping modifications and improvements. including demolition of existing control valve, altitude valve, 18-inch storm sewer line and junction box and installation of new water line and isolation valve, installation of a new control valve with enclosure, and all associated piping, structural, electrical and civil site work as shown on the Drawings and specified herein 7. Miscellaneous site civil work including site cleaning, paving and patching, drainage, site restoration and electrical site work for installing electrical ductbank, conduit, wiring and cables complete in place as shown on the Drawings and specified. B. Extra Unit Price Items, Additive Alternate Bid Prices, and Deductive Alternate Bid Prices are included in Document Proposal for use if extra work is encountered.
