The City of Markham utilizes hydraulic flushing and closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection to maintain and monitor approx. 923 km of storm sewers and 920 km of sanitary sewers. The work under this Contract includes, but not be limited to, provision of all materials, supervision, labour, equipment and setup cost necessary for the closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of storm and sanitary sewer mains as well as hydraulic flushing of sewers as directed by the City. The City of Markham is requesting Bids from qualified contractors to undertake closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection for storm/ sanitary gravity sewers. Approximately 80 km of storm sewers and 80 km of sanitary sewers will require inspection within a year, and the Contractor must be capable of inspecting a minimum of 2 km of sewers per day.
