As of July 6, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The project consists of the rehabilitation of the entire Gifford Lift Station and the replacement of 14 air release valves along the 6-mile force main. The rehabilitation includes the demolition of existing pumps, controls, and piping, coating the existing wet well with epoxy resin, replacing top of wet well slab and hatch, installing new pumps, control, site fencing, permanent stand-by generator, automatic transfer switch, and above grade piping.
