This contract is briefly described as follows: Removal of existing paving; Replacement of the cast iron heads of manholes, sumps and valve boxes; Replacement of concrete curbs; Installation of crushed MG-20 and bituminous mixes; Repair of surfaces affected by the work; As well as all related work necessary for the completion of this contract. The documents are available at the cost established by the SEAO. Invoicing for printing and delivery will be done by SEAO. Plans and specifications are non-refundable. The Municipality incurs no responsibility for the fact that the written opinions or any documents conveyed by electronic system are incomplete or contain any error or omission whatsoever. Consequently, any tenderer must ensure, before submitting his tender, that he obtains all the documents relating to this call for tenders. Only bids from contractors having an establishment in Quebec, or when an intergovernmental market liberalization agreement is applicable, in a province or territory covered by this agreement will be considered, for the purposes of awarding the contract. Contractors must hold the license required under the Building Act (RSQcB-1.1). The tender, to be acceptable, must be accompanied by a certified check or a tender bond of equal value and valid for a period of forty-five (45) days, from the date of opening of the submissions. The amount must be payable to the order of the Municipality of Saint-Paul and represent a minimum of 10% of the total amount of the tender. In accordance with the Public Procurement Act, the deadline for submitting complaints to the Municipality for this call for tenders is February 28, 2022. The deadline for responding to complaints is March 4, 2022. A bid belongs to the Municipality as soon as it is submitted. Once filed, the withdrawal of a submission is therefore not possible.
