Renovation of a mixed-use development in La Plata, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of May 11, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Board of Trustees of College of Southern Maryland invites Proposals and Statements of Qualifications for roof and mechanical upgrades to the Physical Education Center at the La Plata Campus. Questions and inquiries shall be directed to the Executive Director of Purchasing. All questions and inquiries must be received via e-mail to japiccolo@csmd.edu prior to 5 PM, March 1, 2022. The College of Southern Maryland Physical Education Center Building Roof and Mechanical Upgrade is a complete mechanical upgrade and roof replacement for the existing building and addition totaling 37,275 square feet. The project includes roof replacement, new interior and exterior mechanical units, mechanical structural supports, roof caps, flashing, scuppers, overflow drains, ceiling removal and reinstallation and minor interior repairs. The Building and Mechanical Upgrade project is expected to commence no later than April 2022 and to be completed no later than December 1, 2022. The College of Southern Maryland reserves the right to reject all firms and/or submittals for any reason and to waive any informalities in the proposals.
