Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Sedro Woolley, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
Award: SRV Construction Inc. for $2,329,741.50 This contract provides for the construction ion of a roundabout at the intersection of SR9 and John-Liner/McGarigle, including demolition, grading, curb, gutter, sidewalk, storm drainage, HMA pavement, striping, temporary traffic control, installing new street lights, and other related work. The engineers estimate range for this project is $2.2M-2.7M. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Sedro-Woolley. Questions regarding this project may be directed to the City Engineer at plane@sedro-woolley.gov. The City of Sedro-Woolley reserves the right to accept a proposal of the bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid, to reject any or all bids, revise or cancel the work to be performed, or do the work otherwise, if the best interest of the City is served thereby. The City of Sedro-Woolley also reserves the right to postpone the bid award for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after bid opening.
