Brook Glenn Elementary - Exterior Joint Repair Project This program is to be completed in accordance with all terms, conditions, and specifications contained or referenced in this solicitation. The Scope of Work / Program Specifications section should be consulted for a complete detailed description of the work / services to be perform or supplies to be provided. Project Documents / Drawings for this solicitation can be found on the GCSD Procurement Department website as a separate attachment. Vendors shall submit a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid. The Bid Security must be in the form of a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check payable to The School District of Greenville County. No personal checks, company checks or cash will be accepted. Bid Security shall be submitted with the bid or the bid may be considered nonresponsive and not subject to an award. If the total amount of the awarded project exceeds fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00), prior to work commencing, the successful Prime Contractor shall provide the SDGC Facilities Department Project Manager with Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract cost. Brook Glenn Elementary School is a multi-story, precast- concrete panel, building completed in 2005. Currently, the building has deteriorated, exterior, sealant joints, at control joints, expansion joints, windows and other adjacent openings. The project will consist of the removal and replacement of deteriorated, exterior, sealant joints and wet seals at windows with new sealant and backer rods as recommended by the manufacturer during the dates of June 6, 2022- August 9, 2022. The project to include: pressure wash the entire building; apply a waterproofing coating on the exterior exposed concrete panels; the brick veneer does not receive coating.
