Bid Security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder after tabulation and award of the Construction Contract. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any Bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the OWNER. Contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, coordination and incidentals necessary to complete work as described in the Contract Documents. The work to be performed generally includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. The complete construction of a new city neighborhood park Includes site clearing and grubbing, excavation and earth work, rough grading, top soil screening, irrigation system installation with controller, top soil placement, finish grading, sod/hydro-seed/drill seed turf, trees, shrubs, groundcover, concrete flatwork, concrete curbing, concrete retaining walls, pre-fabricated pavilion installation, playground installation, impact material installation, drainage system installation, lights and light piers, electrical system, electrical service, drinking fountain and park sign.
