CR Number: 2083900 This phase of the Project reflects the construction of the next link of pedestrian connectivity along the waterfront. It includes pedestrian access from the existing pedestrian bridge, northerly through the marina parking lot and continuing to Burd Street. The scope of work for the project will include the construction of concrete curbs, concrete sidewalks, ADA ramps, raised bituminous walk, pavement, pavement striping and markings, landscaping and amenities in the Nyack Marina parking lot. The total scope of work for the major items of the base bid for this project includes the construction of approximately 230 SY of concrete sidewalk, 5 inch thick, 45 SY of concrete apron, 6 inch thick, 530 LF of 6" X 8" X 20" concrete vertical curb, 16 SF of embedded detectable warning surfaces for handicapped ramps, raised bituminous crosswalk, trench drains, pavement resurfacing, pavement markings and striping, chain link fence, topsoil and seed, landscaping and site amenities and other associated work as shown on the plans for a complete, in place project. All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and all other applicable federal, state and local statutes. Consistent with federal mandates, the Village solicits bids from any and all parties including but not limited to minority businesses and enterprises owned and conducted by women. This Project is funded by the New York State Department of State (DOS) under Title II of the Environmental Protection Fund (EPF). In accordance with the DOS's Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Policy, Article 15-A of Executive Law, and the regulations promulgated thereto, the DOS has established the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) participation goals of 30% of state grant funds.
