Phone System: 3Com V3000R Communications System at the High School building & 3Com V3000
Communications Systems at all other buildings.
- Telecom Carrier Service: 2 PRIs with 336 DIDs, 911 back up POTS Lines at each school. The Telnet PRIs
terminate at the high school building on an Adtran Gateway with an assigned public IP address. They are
uplinked to the Merrit Fiber WAN Internet connection. The e911 detailed programming has already been
completed with Telnet Worldwide.
- WAN/Internet: HP/Aruba 10-Gigabit (POE) fiber connected LAN between all five (5) locations, with the High
School being the MDF for the School District. The existing 10-Gigabit (POE) network infrastructure
ismanaged by the School District
- Cabling: All VoIP Phone locations have Cat5e or Cat6 ethernet cabling.
- Existing FXO/FXS External Paging System Integrations at all sites five (5) buildings.

the current WAN/internet fiber installed in the buildings. Preference will be afforded to the Vendor that
provides a comprehensive, cost-effective solution for desired specifications and ongoing service and support.
Each prospective Vendor must include in their proposal the benefits that their equipment, mass communications
system and support services will provide including, but not limited to, the increased efficiencies and potential
cost savings the School District will realize
The VoIP Communications solution requested in this RFP will be installed on the existing HP/Aruba 10-Gigabit
(POE) network infrastructure managed by the School District. The School District seeks a solution that includes
Unified Voicemail to e-mail messaging, Call Recording, 911 pre-recorded notification alerts to first responders that
include SMS text, PSTN call and email notifications. All existing IP phones are to be replaced with IP phones. The
solution must include integration to the existing External Paging Systems (Bogen, TOA & Dukane). The School
District desires that the two (2) PRIs be replaced with forty (40) SIP Channels. The intent is to migrate the Telnet
existing PRI Signaling to SIP Trunks with e911 programming. The School District is open to other telecom
carrier SIP Trunking proposals with the e911 programming costs included. Please detail call forward unreachable
