Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Welland, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,336-square-foot, one-story above grade, 20-space fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The Corporation of the City of Welland on behalf of Welland Fire and Emergency Services is seeking Proposal responses from qualified, experienced design build firms who can supply design, architectural and project management skills relating to but not limited to feasibility, capital costing, site development, preparation of contract documents, tendering (unless using own forces) for construction, inspection, contract administration, and commissioning of the Work associated. This multi-disciplined firm shall be responsible for administration, project management and overall oversight of the design build process throughout the construction phase. The project budget is spread over 2022 and 2023 and has a combined total of $4.57 million dollars. Phase 1 of the design build budget was set at approximately $2.5million. The City currently owns the lands, budget allocations are for the design and construction. Award value not released for publication.
