Demolition and site work for a residential development in East Hampton, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
As of April 5, 2022. This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Town of East Hampton reserves the right to reject and declare invalid any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received, all in the best interests of the Town. Each proposal must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid package, in a sealed envelope with the name of the bidder, and the bid name marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. A 10% bid deposit and a Certificate of Non-Collusion must accompany all bid submissions. The time limit being essential to and of the essence of this Contract, the Contractor hereby agrees that the Owner shall be, and is hereby authorized to deduct and retain out of the money which may be due or may become due to said Contractor under this agreement, the sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) per day which amount is hereby agreed upon, fixed and determined by the parties hereto as the liquidated damages.
