Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Scott, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work will involve construction and installation of one and/or multiple floating docks, as per specifications, to be located at Fort Scott Lake (locations defined in bid packet project map attachment #1). Questions regarding this project should be directed to Douglas Guns Sports Facilities and Lake Director (410)422-2481 dguns@fscity.org A pre-bid conference will not be held, if any inquires to the project result in a change of scope of work or specifications an addendum to all bidders may follow and be posted for review. The contractor shall submit with his/her bid, a bid bond or check in the amount of $5,000 payable to City of Fort Scott. A 100% performance and payment bond will also be required upon signing of contract. The City of Fort Scott reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive formalities in bids received, and to otherwise act in the best interests of the City. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within (30) days of actual date of opening thereof. The City of Fort Scott reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or portions thereof, to waive informalities in the proposal document, and to otherwise act in the best interests of the city and its residents. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within thirty (30) days of the actual date of the opening thereof.
