t Vigo County, Indiana acting by and through its Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for Bituminous Materials, Sand, Gravel, Stone, Corrugated Metal Culvert Pipe, Aluminum Box Culverts and HDPE Culvert Pipe for the Vigo County Highway Department for the remainder of year 2022 Each bidder shall accompany their sealed bid with the proper bid security made payable to the Board of Commissioners of Vigo County as follows: Any person, firm or corporation who submits a bid and has a principal place of business in the State of Indiana MUST submit a BOND in the amount of ten percent (10%) of their total bid. Any person who submits a bid and DOES NOT have a principal place of business in the State of Indiana MUST file with their bid a CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIER'S CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR BOND issued by a financial institution insured by an agency of the United If a bid is submitted by a trust, the settlor and beneficiary must be identified. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities as to procedure and to award on the bid that in their judgement is most advantageous to Vigo County, Indiana.
