Jackson Public Schools will accept bids for the JPS Operations Center freezer and cooler project which includes demolition of the existing unit and installation of a new freezer and new cooler. Sub floor and doors are to be saved in the demolition. Site preparation to accommodate a larger unit includes but is not limited to: building modification and exterior ground site work. Successful bidders shall sell, deliver and install combination walk in freezer/cooler with floor. Overall dimensions of the new unit is 34 feet wide x 22 feet deep, consisting of 22x10 foot cooler and 22x24 foot freezer. Entire unit height should be 10 feet tall. Unit shall have a 4-foot door for each the cooler and freezer both right hand swinging doors. Walk-in freezer refrigeration shall consist of two separate evaporators and two separate condensers. Walk-in cooler refrigeration shall consist of one evaporator and one condenser. Bid is inclusive of permits as well as initial startup and adjustments. Work is to be completed to the manufacturer's specs for the units being installed. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Additionally, each bid shall be accompanied by a notarized disclosure statement indicating that they have not been doing business with companies having ties with the country of Iran in accordance with the Iran Sanctions Act. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include a notarized Affidavit of Compliance - Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
