Unpriced bid proposals will be accepted until 11:00 A.M., on March 2, 2022, at the office of the County of Grenada Purchasing Office located at 59 Green Street Suite 4 Grenada MS 38901, or by electronic bid submission. Submitted proposals will be evaluated and vendors submitting acceptable offers will be invited to submit priced bids. The Grenada County, Mississippi, Board of Supervisors will receive un-priced bid proposals for Three (3) New Generators The Board of Supervisors of Grenada County, Mississippi, reserves the right to utilize anti-sniping for reverse auctions. Anti-sniping is a tool that automatically extends the bid time for a reverse auction by fifteen (15) minutes if a vendor places a bid in the final five (5) minutes of the reverse auction. The anti-sniping effect will auto-extend the reverse auction bid time any time a bid is placed in the last five (5) minutes of the reverse auction and can auto-extend the reverse auction multiple times until the bidding on the reverse auction ends. The Board of Supervisors of Grenada County, Mississippi, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities. *Each generator will be a 30 KW, 240 volt diesel, trailer mounted generator.
*Each unit shall be equipped with battery charger, block heater and 50 foot power cable. * Generators shall be delivered no later than 180 days after bid award.
*Price shall include Freight to Jobsite.
The conditions and specifications listed are not intended to prohibit qualified vendors from submitting a bid on an equal or larger in size class model.
A bidder shall include an attachment "Exceptions to Bid Conditions & Specifications" sheet listing any variations or exception to the conditions or technical (non size class) or operation feature specifications for the machine model offered.
Bidders will be responsible for establishing equality and offering only its manufacturer's model that is equal to or larger in size class.
Each non-size class exception must be listed on separate page titled Exceptions and will be evaluated and accepted or declined individually.
Grenada County may refer to a manufacturer's internet site to confirm that the model being bid is the correct model that meets our minimum requirements.
Prices shall include delivery charges, set up.
Purchases will be made from the best bidder. In determining the best bid, Grenada County may take into consideration documented auction resale value, local parts 1 service support, warranty, prior experience with make and dealer and any other relevant information when making this determination.
Warranty may be a consideration in determining the best bid.
