The City of Waseca is requesting written quotes for PUBLIC WORKS SHOP MEMBRANE ROOF REPLACEMENT. The Public Works Shop Building is located at 200 5th Ave SW. Contractors must arrange to inspect the existing roof materials prior to submitting quotes by contacting Tim Roessler at 507- 835-9710. A pre-quote inspection is required in order to submit a quote. 1. Removal of the existing ballast roof system to the decking and dispose legally of existing Public Works Shop roofing materials; install new wood blocking as needed at perimeter edge to accommodate for increase to roof height with the installation of new insulation. 2. Install a fully tapered polyisocyanurate roof insulation system according to manufacturer's specification with R-30 value to move water to existing drain locations. 3. Install a totally adhered 60 mil EPDM roof system in strict accordance with manufacturer's specifications and design details. 4. Fabricate and install new 24-gauge prefinished corrosion resistant sheet metal perimeter and counter flashings of existing material color. 5. All materials shall be installed according to manufacturer's specifications. 6. Material Warranty - After manufacturer's authorized representative's installation inspection, Contractor shall provide all completed material warranty information to the Streets Superintendent (Superintendent) within sixty (60) days of installation completion. (Standard two-year contractor warranty applies. Manufacturer's Warranty includes a Fifteen-Twenty Year Golden Seal Warranty or manufacturer's equivalent.) 7. Contractor responsible for cleanup of materials associated with project. 8. Contractor responsible for turf restoration or building repairs if damaged as documented.
