Bid Bond None The Virginia Beach City Council has adopted a 12% goal for minority participation in City Contracts. The purpose of the conference is to clarify and answer any questions associated with the solicitation. Any changes determined necessary as a result of this conference or any other source which may affect the responses to the solicitation shall be formally addressed by the Issuing Office via addenda. Questions regarding the pre-bid conference are due no later than Tuesday, March 1, 2022, 3:00 PM EST. Prior to the award of the Contract, the Contractor shall provide a Payment and a Performance Bond. The Base Term of the Contract is one-year. There are two (2) bilateral Option Terms. Both parties must agree to extend the Contract for an Option Term. The duration of each Option Term is one-year. The city of virginia beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informalities in the bid process and reserves the right to enter into any contract deemed to be in its best interest. The specifications in this bid are intended as a quality indicator and guide for your bidding and unless otherwise stated, the city will consider alternate bids of equal or better quality, which shall be accompanied by descriptive literature. The entire contents of this invitation to bid, any addenda, and bidder's response shall be incorporated into any resulting contract The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities in the bidding process.
