This project consists of constructing the new Finn - Oakwood 161kV transmission line located in Hannibal, Missouri. The line runs from Oakwood Station to Structure 36 (H13) and traverses in a southeastern direction through rural, gently rolling hills. The line is approximately 2.6 miles long. The project will involve installing thirty-five (35) weathering steel structures. These structures include: twenty-one (21) TP-11, monopole, weathering steel, alternating braced line post tangent structures; six (6) TP-12, monopole, weathering steel, vertical braced line post tangent structures; two (2) TS-3AA, monopole, weathering steel, guyed I-string running angle structures; one (1) TS-5AG, monopole, weathering steel, guyed large angle deadend structure; one (1) TS-5ANT, monopole, weathering steel, small angle non-terminal deadend structure; two (2) TS-5A, monopole, weathering steel, large angle deadend structures; and two (2) TS-5AA, monopole, weathering steel, small angle deadend structures. Foundations consist of four (4) drilled piers with standard length anchor bolts and cages, twenty-eight (28) direct embeds with crushed rock backfill, and three (3) direct embeds with concrete backfill. The line is designed for single circuit. The conductor will be 3 phases of 477 kcmil "Hawk" ACSR and will be shielded by 1 phase of DNO-11706. 7#7 Alumoweld shield wire will be utilized when two shield wires are required or in spans entering the station.
