The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners Purchasing Department (County) is requesting competitive sealed proposals from licensed general contractors for renovations to the Cherokee County Elections Office located at 193 Lamar Haley Parkway, Canton, GA 30114 The renovationsinclude selective demolition and construction of new spaces within an approximately 13,369 square foot single story space with an existing mezzanine. The renovated spaces shall include offices, warehouse space, boardroom, breakroom, voting area, tabulation space, equipment testing area and various storage spaces throughout. The interior spaces shall be metal stud and gypsum board partitions with various finishes including paint, tile, vinyl plank flooring and acoustical ceiling tile. The building exterior renovations shall include new gutters, downspouts, soffit paneling and paint. Plans have been submitted to the building department. The awarded contractor will have to apply for and pick up the permits. Permit fees will be waived.
