Sealed proposals addressed to the Honorable Mayor and City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas for the single course penetration treatment of approximately 107,000 square yards of streets entitled. Any bid received after the time and date listed above will be returned unopened and will not be considered. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and inform themselves regarding all local conditions. Contract Documents are on file and may be examined in the office of the Director of Public Works, City of Plainview, 202 W 5th Street, Plainview, Texas 79072, phone (806) 296-1150 and the offices of Brandt Engineers, Consulting Engineers, 4537 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, Texas 79110, phone (806) 353-7233. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness, the Owner reserves the right to adopt such interpretations as may be most advantageous or to reject the bid as informal. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 days from the bid opening date.
