The Company's sole purpose is to gather information regarding the interest and ability of suppliers to offer the Company services in the manufacture and supply of prison windows for detention facilities operated by the Ministry of Public Security. 1) SUBJECT OF THE CALL FOR INTEREST The Société québécoise des infrastructures (hereinafter Company) invites suppliers and manufacturers (hereinafter Company(s)) interested and having the capacity to manufacture and supply prison windows for detention facilities operated by the Ministry of Public Security in all administrative regions of Quebec to come forward. This call for interest gives interested companies the opportunity to specify their interest and their ability to manufacture prison windows for detention facilities on the territory of the province of Quebec. It will thus enable the Company to know the state of the current market and to establish a strategy for the acquisition of prison windows. No contract will be entered into directly with a Company as a result of its participation in this call for interest. However, following the results of this process, a call for qualification with conformity tests could possibly be launched in order to qualify suppliers, who can then participate in one or more calls for tenders for the acquisition of prison windows. Responding to this call for interest is not a prerequisite for entering into a contract or for being authorized to bid in the context of a possible call for tenders or notice of qualification of suppliers. 2) RULES FOR COMPANIES 2.1) Modification of the call for interest The Company reserves the right to make changes to the call for interest documents before the deadline set for receipt of responses or to modify the deadline for receipt of responses. These modifications then form an integral part of the call for interest documents and are transmitted, by means of addenda, to the Companies which have obtained the call for interest documents through the electronic call for interest system. offers (SEAO). 2.2) Communication language The response to this call for interest, the general information sheet (Appendix A) and the relevant documentation relating to the presentation of the Company must all be in French.
