Renovation of a mixed-use development in Taylors, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The School District of Greenville County (District) invites interested firms to submit a SEALED PROPOSAL to provide E-Rate Pricing for athletic field press box fiber connectivity and networking equipment at multiple high schools in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions of this solicitation. District staff will provide installation of the equipment. The specifications were prepared by staff of the Districts Education Technology Services Department and are included in this solicitation. This solicitation does not commit the District to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of the response to this solicitation or to procure any goods or services. An award resulting from this solicitation will be for one (1) year from the date of award with the option to extend for one (1) year annually, with a potential of five (5) years in total, if agreed to by SDGC and the successful proposers. The award and period of performance is valid annually and shall not exceed five (5) years in total. Inquiry Deadline: March 8, 2022, at 9:00 A.M. EST Questions or comments regarding this solicitation document or the process shall be forwarded, in writing, to Ms. Tonya A. Stroud, Senior Buyer, and Ms. Valarie Southerlin, Buyer, 2 Space Drive, Taylors, South Carolina 29687. Email addresses are: tstroud@greenville.k12.sc.us and vsouther@greenville.k12.sc.us. Inquiries and comments shall be delivered to the Procurement Department no later than March 8, 2022, at 9:00 A.M. EST. Verbal questions/comments shall not be addressed at any time. The District does not require Performance and Payment Bonds for this project. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held to allow vendors the opportunity to walk each site. The conference will start each day at the first location at the designated time. The second walkthrough of the day will occur immediately after the first walkthrough has been completed with driving time to the second location taken into consideration. Vendors will meet a representative from the District’s technology department at the designated times in the front office of each respective high school where each vendor will be required to sign in to the school check in system before proceeding. Please know that each participant will be asked to sign in at each location by scanning their driver’s license where a background check against the national sex offender registry will be performed. Any participant that fails the background check will not be permitted to continue and will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
