Further to the Request for Information issued on March 04, 2020 and the Notice to Vendors issued on August 18, 2021, this RFP is issued by BC Hydro to obtain Proposals for the design and supply of static excitation equipment which may include exciter controls, exciter transformers and related components ("Static Excitation Systems") for replacement and retrofit projects at various BC Hydro facilities throughout the province of British Columbia (the "Services"), as more specifically described in the RFP Documents. Under this RFP 14451, BC Hydro intends to award up to two non-exclusive Master Supply Agreements ("MSA") for a term of 3 years, and the immediate requirements for Kootenay Canal ("KCL") as the first Work Order under the MSA of the successful Proponent whose KCL Proposal BC Hydro determines to be most advantageous. A draft form of the MSA and the draft KCL Work Order are included with this RFP. The Requirements for KCL include the design and supply of four Static Excitation Systems including exciter controls and exciter transformers for KCL Units 1 through 4. Please refer to the draft KCL Work Order for more details. Delivery or completion date is 2024 to 2027.
