Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
1. Disruption of water system to the building residents. Contractor’s use of premise will be restricted and subject to approval from TPF. Coordinate with TPF access to site, storage provisions, etc. 2. Before submitting bid, visit the site and examine the existing building conditions, existing plumbing and electrical installation which this work is in anyway interdependent for best workmanship and execution according to the intent of the scope of work and specifications. Costs for extra work which was not reported prior to submitting bid shall be borne by the contractor. 3. Provide and install complete, fully tested and operational plumbing system to meet requirements described herein and in complete accord with applicable codes and ordinances. 4. Contractor shall obtain all necessary building and trade permits required by the authority having jurisdiction prior to perform the scope of work. All costs to be included on bid price. 5. Hours of work from 8am to 5pm. System to be fully functional at the end of the work day 6. All bonds required for bids over $100,000 7. Contractor to arrange for own Waste Disposal. TPFA bins are not to be use 8. Contractor may use all public washroom facilities 9. There is no parking available on site. 10.This work is to be carried out at the basement (mechanical room) 11.Prepare a detailed schedule showing all required shutdowns. A minimum of 7 days notice is required for residents to be informed of shut downs. Schedule to be updated weekly. 12.Contractor to protect all equipment and clean work area after each day shift.
