Kingsley Area Schools is accepting proposals for network cabling for Rodes Field and outbuildings. The purpose of this proposal is to prepare Rodes Field for security cameras and other network uses. Proposal #1 Bid Specifications A) Install at least six strands of single mode fiber from The Kingsley Elementary Building located at 311 Clark Street to the Rodes Field press box located at 775 Clark Street, including: a) Industry standard terminations (type LC or SC preferred) b) A patch panel in an existing rack at the elementary school c) Bidder to provide small rack and patch panel at the pressbox B) Install copper Ethernet cabling that is Category 6 or better underground with appropriate physical protections and industry standard terminations from the pressbox to the following outbuildings: a) Pole barn b) Pole barn c) Concession pavilion d) Ticket booth C) Install copper Ethernet cabling that is Category 6 or better with industry standard terminations within the press box from the fiber termination location to: a) The north end of the roof for a security camera b) The south end of the roof for a security camera c) The interior room at the north end of the top of the pressbox d) The interior room at the south end of the pressbox D) The district will provide all network switch hardware. Proposal #2 Bid Specifications A) Install at least six strands of single mode fiber from The Kingsley Middle School Building located at 403 Blair Street to Rodes Field press box located at 775 Clark Street, including: a) Industry standard terminations (type LC or SC preferred) b) A patch panel in an existing rack at the elementary school c) Bidder to provide small rack and patch panel at the pressbox B) Install copper Ethernet cabling that is Category 6 or better underground with appropriate physical protections and industry standard terminations from the pressbox to the following outbuildings: a) Pole barn b) Pole barn c) Concession pavilion d) Ticket booth C) Install copper Ethernet cabling that is Category 6 or better with industry standard terminations within the pressbox from the fiber termination location to: a) The north end of the roof for a security camera b) The south end of the roof for a security camera c) The interior room at the north end of the top of the pressbox d) The interior room at the south end of the pressbox D) The district will provide all network switch hardware.
