The City of Livonia is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to perform annual/semiannual Fire Sprinkler, Suppression and Alarm system inspections, testing, service and maintenance including kitchen hood and duct cleaning for (17) protected facilities owned by the City. The initial service period will be for a period of (3) three calendar years, 2022, 2023 and 2024 at which time the City, at its discretion may elect to exercise an option to renew the contract for an additional (1) year period. All services shall be performed or provided to ensure strict compliance with applicable NFPA 25, 72 or 17-2001 standards and/or requirements for compliant specific system operation. All inspections, testing and authorized repairs must be completed and invoiced no later than November 30th of each year. Dry systems will require a second inspection in November of each year to verify the integrity of the system for the winter.
