As of May 17, 2022, a contractor has been awarded. The current status and timeline for construction has not been disclosed. SCOPE OF WORK Provide services for the removal and replacement of three HVAC units in the Straus Building. To provide and pay for all permits and inspections required for the scope of work and removal and disposal of existing units to be replaced. Project 1 - Install HVAC unit for offices 107,108 and 109, install new equipment inside and new condenser outside to replace existing units. Reconnect ductwork, install power and control wiring. Install new condensate drain line and condensate drain safeties. Install a new condensate pump. Install new Honeywell digital programmable thermostat. Project 2 - Install HVAC unit for offices 121 & 123, install new equipment inside and new condenser outside to replace existing units. Reconnect ductwork, install power and control wiring. Install new condensate drain line and condensate drain safeties. Install a new Honeywell digital programmable thermostat. Project 3 - Install HVAC unit for classroom 116, install new equipment inside and new condenser outside to replace the existing units. Reconnect power wiring and control wiring. Install a new Honeywell digital programmable thermostat. Install a new unit compatible to the existing unit and reconnect to the steam lines from boiler. Replace existing steam valve with a new steam valve. Daily cleanup of all work areas, paths of entry and material delivery or removal materials. Any damage to buildings, walkways and foliage will be the responsibility of the contractor to repair or replace at their expense. Any deficiencies found in the installation or materials used in the installation that would prevent receiving a green tag from inspectors will be the contractor's responsibility and expense to correct. The owner is to receive training on all equipment for facilities maintenance, training to include a scheduled walk-through for maintenance personnel.
