Olivehurst Public Utility District (OPUD) collects and treats drinking water at the WTP. The WTP is located at the southwest intersection of Arboga Road and Plumas Arboga Road in Olivehurst, CA. The Division of Drinking Water (DDW) is requiring the District to make improvements to the ventilation in the WTP's reservoir and backwash tank (tanks). The improvements are to improve the reliability in preventing the building up of methane in these two tanks.Contractor shall provide a faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a labor and materials bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price on the attached forms. Accompanying this proposal is (cashier's check) (certified check) (bidder's bond) (NOTE: Cross out those that do not apply) in the amount of dollars, being at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid. Each prospective contractor will submit a proposal for providing a fully operational and turn-key methane blower-fan system provided in the RFP and to include but not be limited to: Installation of blower, exhaust fans, updated plant alarm (equipment) as specified and listed above, installation and interlocks of two new exhaust fans and venting for the backwash tank, connections to utilities (electrical), mechanical work and start-up. The proposal will be awarded to lowest responsible bidder that meets all the qualifications and requirements listed. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1773.2 of the California Labor Code, this project is subject to the provisions of California's Prevailing Wage Laws and copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the office of Olivehurst Public Utility District, 1970 9th Avenue, Olivehurst, California 95961. Prospective BIDDERS shall be licensed CONTRACTORS in the State of California and shall be skilled and regularly engaged in the general class or type of WORK called for under the CONTRACT. Each BIDDER submitting a bid shall have California Contractor's license appropriate for this type of work. A mandatory site walk will be scheduled at the districts convenience.
