Bids for the South Stockton Pedestrian HAWK Improvements in accordance with the request for proposal for Project No. WT22048. Each proposal shall be submitted as one packet and shall be accompanied by the Non-Collusion Declaration and all of the required documents and information. The pricing shall be submitted under separate, sealed envelope. Each proposer shall be licensed in accordance with applicable State laws. Prepare plans, specifications and estimate for eight (8) locations to install high-intensity activated crosswalk (HAWK) beacons, intersection lighting, high visibility crosswalks, and frontage improvements. The City of Stockton encourages local Stockton firms to propose on this project and the City encourages proposers to use local Stockton firms as subconsultants. Accordingly, the Local Business Preference Ordinance applies to this project. Proposers shall email an electronic copy of the proposal to the project manager no later than the stated date and time. The Cost Proposal must be emailed, separately from the proposal. Late electronic submittals will not be accepted. Proposers are hereby notified that the successful proposer and any subconsultant under them shall pay prevailing wage rates in accordance with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations. A contract will be awarded to proposer who best meets the needs of the City; provided, however, that the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to re-advertise for proposals or to provide for the work to be done by the City of Stockton.
