Escambia County, Florida (County) seeks to establish one or more contracts for disaster debris removal, reduction, disposal and other emergency cleanup services following a debris-generating event, such as a tropical system or other natural or man-made disasters. Under this contract, a number of services are contemplated including debris clearance, removal, reduction, and disposal. The County will work with the selected Contractor(s) to develop a scope of services and contract that is consistent with the specific scope of services awarded. The sections that follow are intended to provide Proposers with a detailed understanding of the County's requirements associated with disaster debris removal and disposal operations. Work will include:
1. Examining and working in conjunction with the County and its authorized agents to determine that debris is Eligible
2. Loading the debris
3. Hauling debris to a County approved Debris Management Site (DMS) or County Designated Final Disposal Site
4. Reducing disaster related debris
5. Hauling reduced debris to a County Designated Final Disposal Site
6. Dumping the debris at the dumpsite or County Designated Final Disposal Site. Debris not defined as Eligible by FEMA Publication FP-104-009-2 or state or federal DSG or policies will not be loaded, hauled, or dumped under this contract unless written instructions are given to the Contractor by the County Debris Manager. List any licenses or certifications related to the Scope of Work described in this ITN. State if the Proposer does not have any related or applicable licenses or certifications.
