City of Lewisburg Water System Improvements: Contract No. 6: Distribution System Upgrades, until 1:00 P.M., L.P.T., March 22, 2022. Contract No. 8: Water Treatment Plant, until 1:00 P.M., L.P.T., March 22, 2022. Contract No. 8A: Raw Water Intake, until 1:00 P.M., L.P.T., March 22, 2022. Contract No. 10: Distribution System Upgrades, until 1:00 P.M., L.P.T., March 22, 2022. Contract No. 10A: Yates Water Storage Tank, until 1:00 P.M., L.P.T., March 22, 2022. Contract No. 10B: Ruffner Water Storage Tank, until 1:00 P.M., L.P.T., March 22, 2022. Contract No. 11: Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation, until 1:00 P.M., L.P.T., March 22, 2022. The total base bid price for each contract shall include the costs for furnishing labor and materials and performing all work set forth in the Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Forms of Proposal, General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, and Plans and Detail Specifications prepared by Chapman Technical Group. Immediately following the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids, all proposals that have been submitted in accordance with the conditions of this project will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work to be bid upon is described as follows: Contract No. 6: Distribution System Upgrades The Project consists of the installation of approximately 15,925 L.F. of 12" waterline; 1,470 L.F. of 8" waterline; 190 L.F. of 6" waterline; 20 L.F. of 2" waterline; 58 service reconnections; 9 fire hydrant assemblies; 505 L.F. of Type "A" roadway restoration; 380 L.F. of concrete driveway restoration; 60 L.F. of Type "B" roadway restoration; 2,962 L.F. of asphalt roadway repair; 1 pressure reducing valve vault, and is identified as Contract No. 6 - City of Lewisburg Water System Improvements, Distribution System Upgrades and is shown on Contract Documents prepared by Chapman Technical Group. Construction time limit is 365 calendar days for Contract No. 6. Contract No. 8: Water Treatment Plant The Project consists of construction of new filtration building that includes (6) packaged stainless steel filtration units including controls, valves and process equipment housed in a 8,485 SF pre-engineered building; a 772,629 gallon below ground reinforced concrete clearwell; 100,500 gallon below ground reinforced concrete backwash tank with sludge removal system; sludge dewatering facility; sludge holding tank; high service and backwash pumps; chemical feed system; chlorine and UV disinfection systems; backwash water filtration system; mechanical and electrical work; emergency generator; plant piping; site work; fencing; and is identified as Contract No. 8 - City of Lewisburg, Water Treatment Plant and is shown on Contract Documents prepared by Chapman Technical Group. Construction time limit is 550 calendar days for Contract No. 8. Contract No. 8A: Raw Water Intake The Project consists of construction of approximately 165 LF of H pile and concrete lagging wall, two (2) 24" intake screens with air burst cleaning system; three (2) 2,450 GPM submersible raw water pumps; 17'-0" x 12'-0" concrete wet well; 200 SF shelter overtop of the 17'-0" x 12'-0" concrete valve vault; valves piping; mechanical and electrical work; emergency generator; site work; fencing; installation of approximately 12,360 L.F. of 24" DIP waterline; 12,360 L.F. of Type "C" roadway restoration; 100 L.F. of rip-rap; 2 Connections to existing waterlines and is identified as Contract No. 8A - City of Lewisburg, Raw Water Intake and is shown on Contract Documents prepared by Chapman Technical Group. Construction time limit is 550 calendar days for Contract No. 8A. Contract No. 10: Distribution System Upgrades The Project consists of the installation of approximately 12,570 L.F. of 20" DIP waterline; 340 L.F. of 12" DIP waterline; 1,435 L.F. of Type "C" roadway restoration; 130 L.F. of pavement restoration; 3 PRV installations; 2 Connections to existing waterlines and is identified as Contract No. 10 - City of Lewisburg Water System Improvements, Distribution System Upgrades and is shown on Contract Documents prepared by Chapman Technical Group. Construction time limit is 365 calendar days for Contract No. 10. Contract No. 10A: Yates Water Storage Tank The Project consists of the construction of one (1) 2.5 million gallon potable water storage tank. The tank shall be prestressed concrete type 3 construction. The Work shall consist of site work, concrete tank, foundation, site piping, fencing, access road, site stone surface, valve vault, overflow, and drain. The project is identified as Contract No. 10A - City of Lewisburg Water System Improvements, Yates Water Storage Tank and is shown on Contract Documents prepared by Chapman Technical Group. Construction time limit is 365 calendar days for Contract No. 10A. Contract No. 10B: Ruffner Water Storage Tank The Project consists of the construction of a 500,000-gallon potable water storage tank and foundation, valve vault, piping, site work, fencing, site stone surface, overflow, and drain. The storage tank materials of construction shall be factory-coated bolted steel, or high strength welded steel with a self-supporting roof, as determined by bidding. The project is identified as Contract No. 10B- City of Lewisburg Water System Improvements, Ruffner Water Storage Tank and is shown on Contract Documents prepared by Chapman Technical Group. Construction time limit is 365 calendar days for Contract No. 10B. Contract No. 11: Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation The Project consists of the demolition of three (3) water storage tanks (Yates, Boggs, and Gibson), the demolition of two (2) booster stations (Boggs and Gibson), and the rehabilitation - including re-coating and all safety equipment - of two (2) potable water storage tanks (Ruffner and Maxwelton). The project is identified as Contract No. 11 - City of Lewisburg Water System Improvements, Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation and is shown on Contract Documents prepared by Chapman Technical Group.
