Site work for a water / sewer project in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check drawn upon a national or state bank or trust company, payable to the Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority in the amount of not less than TEN PERCENTUM (10%) of the total amount bid; or a bid bond for the same amount, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety bond, of a company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, in a sum equal to ONE HUNDRED PERCENTUM (100%) of the total contract price. Bidders' attention is called to the requirements of N.J.R.S. 34-11.56.25 et seq., Prevailing Wages on Public Contracts, and United States Department of Labor Determination Decision No. NJ 75-3049 Mod. No. 5, with the higher rate for any given occupation being the governing rate, and N.J.S.A. 10:2-2-1 et seq., prohibiting discrimination in employment on public contracts. The Board of Directors of the Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it deems it in the public interest to do so.
