The Work consists of furnishing labor, equipment, materials and supplies for cleaning, repairing, abrasive blast surface preparation, and re-painting (interior and exterior) of one welded steel water reservoir, including appurtenances (safety climb devices, exterior ladder, interior ladder, roof hatch, water level indicator, splash pads, etc.), accessories, erosioncontrol, gravel pad repaving, overflowpad replacement, filling, testing, flushing, disinfection, and site restoration/clean-up. The 2,000,000 gallon capacity, ground storage reservoir has a nominal diameter of 78 ft. 4-inches and the shell height is 56 ft. The cone roof is sloped at 1-inch in 12-inches. The tank is located 800 East Guild Road, Walker County, Georgia, 30728 Bids must beaccompanied by a Bid Bond, or other security authorized by law, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid. The successfulBidderwill be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of thebids, during which the Bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The right is also reserved to reject any and all Bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities.
