ADVERTISEMENT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO DEVELOP AND PRODUCE AN URBAN TREE CANOPY (UTC) ASSESSMENT Proposal Submittal Deadline due 12:00 PM March 24, 2022. CONTRACT SERVICES: The City of Longview Parks and Recreation Department ( LPRD ) is soliciting proposals from qualified professional consultants to develop and produce an Urban Tree Canopy (UTC) assessment for the City of Longview. LPRD invites your firm to submit a proposal in accordance with this Request for Proposal (RFP). Your response to this request will be evaluated to determine the qualifications of your firm. Proposals must adhere to the format and content of this RFP. Proposals will not be evaluated unless all parts requested are submitted in a complete package. The information set forth is the minimum required in order to qualify for consideration. The successful proposer shall be required to enter into a contractual agreement based on the specifications outlined in this RFP. Sealed proposals and the accompanying emailed proposals will be received until 12:00 PM on March 24, 2022 at the City of Longview Parks and Recreation Department located 2920 Douglas Street, Longview, WA 98632. Facsimile proposals will not be accepted. Proposals will not be accepted after the stated proposal submittal deadline. Late proposals will be returned to the proposer unopened. Request for Proposal (RFP) documents may be obtained at Longview Parks and Recreation, 2920 Douglas Street, Longview, Washington. You may also find the RFP documents located on The City of Longview s website; www.mylongview.com, select Your Government tab and choose RFP Postings. It is the responsibility of the proposer to include all requirements in their proposal. The LPRD accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to proposers who fail to meet the proposal requirements. Special bindings, colored displays, promotional materials, etc. are not desired. Emphasis should be on completeness and clarity of content. Questions must be submitted via email to Jennifer.wills@mylongview.com. All questions must include: Contractor s name, e-mail, telephone number, address and reference to the specific section of the RFP in question. All questions must be received by 12:00 PM, Friday, March 11, 2022. Questions submitted after that time frame shall not be addressed. The LPRD reserves the right: 1. to reject any or all proposals; 2. to waive minor irregularities in any proposal; 3. to request clarification of information submitted; 4. to request additional information; 5. to award any contract to the next most qualified contractor if the successful contractor does not execute a contract within seven (7) days after the award of proposal. The LPRD will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the proposers in preparing, submitting or presenting a response to the RFP. The proposers will be required to comply with all Federal, State, County, and City laws, regulations, codes and policy with regards to licenses, permits and operations to do business.
