The City of Ormond Beach, Florida, is soliciting proposals and intends to select one or more qualified contractors interested in performing repair and renovation services at City facilities on a time and materials basis. It is the intent of the City to enter in to a contractual agreement (or agreements) with crafts and trades contractors to do work on an "as needed" basis in accordance with the terms, conditions, categories, and specifications as set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The work covered by this contract consists of repair, installation and/or renovation services, including, but not limited to: overhead door/electric gates (repair and installation, including welding and millwright services) shade structures (emergency removal, installation and repairs), and pressure cleaning (including equipment rental and refuse removal). The Contractor shall provide all the labor, materials and tools required to satisfactorily complete the Work. The City reserves the following rights: to waive informalities in any bid/proposal/quote; to reject any or all bids/proposals/quotes or portions of bids/proposals/quotes; to accept any bid/proposal/quote or portions of bids/proposals/quotes deemed to be in the best interest of the City; and to negotiate or refuse to negotiate with any offer.
