The Work for which Bids are asked includes the following: South Street Lift Station Upgrade Project - Abandoning of a buried steel lift station and construction of a new above ground submersible lift station with prefabricated control building, including, excavation, existing station removal, watermain relocation, installation of the new concrete structure, installation of the prefabricated building, installation of the pumps and controls, and electrical connections. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) are encouraged to submit bid proposals.
