Renovation of a residential development in Gainesville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The City of Gainesville, Florida will receive bids on a general contract for Housing Rehabilitation. All bids must be on the total project. SEGREGATED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. NO MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE: HOUSING & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIVISION 306 N.E, 6th Avenue, Room 249, Gainesville, Florida 32601 (Project Site Visit Thereafter) Contractors will examine the site during the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. This site visit will be coordinated and conducted by the City's Authorized Representative who is specified in Section 9 of these Special Provisions. Bidders shall clearly mark the outside of the sealed envelope BID, City of Gainesville - Housing Rehabilitation Program and give the bidder's name and address. If special accommodations are needed in order to attend a pre-bid conference or a bid opening, please contact the Housing & Community Development Division at least 72 hours in advance. Bids shall be sealed and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with both the bid number and the bid name. Bids must be completed and signed in ink in space[s] provided on the Bid form, FORM # 1, page 63 and submitted with 2 copies or bid will be subject to rejection. Two copies are not necessary for digital submissions. Please note that if bonds are required, they must be in the approved form attached to the specifications or the bid will be subject to rejection. The City reserves the following rights: a. to waive Clarifications and Exceptions in awarding the bid in the best interest of the City; b. to accept or reject any or all bids; c. to waive any or all irregularities; and d. to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive Bidder whose bid is determined by the City to be in its best interest. e. Notice of intended award shall be posted at Thomas Center B, 306 NE 6th Avenue, 2nd floor (Room 253), Gainesville, Florida, 32601. f. Protests of the intended award must be filed within five business days of posting for purchases which do not require prior approval of the City Commission and within five
