Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Jackson, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Butts County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the renovation / refurbishment of Baseball Fields A, B, C, D, and E at Daughtry Park for the Leisure Services Department. The project is slated to begin mid-June. Questions regarding bids should be directed to Tina Lunsford, Purchasing & Procurement Specialist, at tlunsford@buttscounty.org no later than March 7, 2022. Any possible exceptions to the bid specifications and/or terms and conditions should be addressed during this phase. These requests will be answered in an addendum. A Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of Treasury, Circular 570, (latest edition). The written bid documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties. Award will be made to the contractor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. Butts County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and to make an award deemed in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety. Butts County reserves the option to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) at its discretion.
