Renovation of an existing building with a total area of about 20,240 SF. The project will consist of interior finishes, removal of a few doors and portions of walls, replacement of elevator. The building is a Business Occupancy. The construction type is IIIB as defined by the IBC and Type III 200 as defined by the NFPA. The project will consist of renovating the interior finishes, removal of a few doors and portions of walls, replacement of existing elevator. Date: September 21, 2022 Time: 12:00 pm EST The following Bonds will be required with award: Performance Bond Labor and Material Bond SUBSTANTIAL AND FINAL COMPLETION - The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed and/or Contact shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion if contract time stated below is in number of calendar days. Substantial Completion shall be Six (6) Months from executed agreement Final Completion shall be One (1) Month from Substantial Completion Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion.
