Renovation of a residential development in Millsboro, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Residential Home Elevation Contract Term: 120 Consecutive Calendar Days 1. Disconnect single story residential structure from two-story structure 2. Move/modify window openings in two story structure affected by the elevation 3. Raise single story structure to above base flood elevation 4. Install one of the foundation options and reset house on foundation 5. Re-attach both structures, reconfigure roof and stairway 6. Raise all mechanical/electrical components in the two-story structure above base flood elevation Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee equivalent to five (5) percent of the amount of the base bid and all alternates. A certified check or cashier's check must be used. The bid guarantee shall be made payable to Sussex County Council. Federal or State scale wage rates are NOT applicable on this Project. All Contractor questions must be submitted in writing to the Engineering Department at hans.medlarz@sussexcountyde.gov no later than five (5) business days prior to the bid opening Sussex County reserves the right to extend the time and place of the bid opening on not less than two (2) calendar days' notice by electronic means to those who have obtained copies of the Contract Documents. Sussex County reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids.
