Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Morrisville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The scope of work involves complete concrete reconstruction of the taxilane that serves the North Cargo Apron, which is occupied by FedEx and UPS. The taxilane is comprised of concrete pavement and is approximately 2,600 ft long and 80 ft wide. The connection of the taxilane to Taxiway J will require geometric updates per requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration. The area of reconstruction is generally depicted in Exhibit B, attached hereto. The project also includes construction of new taxiway shoulders, replacing or reusing taxiway edge and in-pavement lights, and taxiway signs. Other elements of the work include miscellaneous drainage pipe and grading improvements, turf restoration, and pavement markings. Construction will be phased and sequenced to accommodate the ongoing operations of the Cargo Carriers. Additionally, certain work elements may be required to be performed during nighttime hours and/or weekend days. The contract will specify completion of work in phases with various durations. The estimated construction cost for each project is between ten million dollars ($10,000,000) and twenty million dollars ($20,000,000). Funding for the projects may include grants from the Federal Aviation Administration and the State of North Carolina, the requirements of which will be incorporated into the plans and specifications for the work.
