Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Smyrna, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project will be awarded at the March 21, 2022 Council meeting. The Project consists of reconfiguring and reconstructing the existing parking lots along Main Street and South Street into one connected lot with a new entrance along South Street. Paving and installation of a bioretention with infiltration facility are also a part of this project. The required work hours will be from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM for day work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with add alternate and contingent items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid envelopes must be clearly marked Sealed Bid Town of Smyrna Municipal Parking Lot Project . The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
