Renovation of an educational facility in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project will establish priority/phasing to upgrade the building's HVAC system by study, followed by design thru construction to upgrade select existing HVAC systems within the funding available. Study has determined that the fan coil units on ground, first and second floors will be replaced with 4 pipe units in addition to the addition of powered exhaust fans. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. Targeted Small Business (TSB): The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. This establishes the amount that should be reported on the Final Payment Reporting Form as part of the TSB Program. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at English-Philosophy Building, 251 West Iowa Avenue, Iowa City, IA 52245.
