All persons and firms wishing to submit bids must obtain a complete copy of the Invitation to Bid and submit all required forms as outlined in the solicitation document with their response. Stephanie Edwards via email at sedwards@lakewalesfl.gov All work for the Lake Wales Water Main Improvements Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Dewberry and the proposed improvements will be awarded and constructed under one contract designed by Dewberry. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering, and installing all materials, equipment and services, including labor, for the Work described. The intent of the Lake Wales Water Main Improvements Project is to replace aging water lines in portions of the city's service area. The project generally includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, restoration and incidentals for construction of 6- through 8-inch diameter water mains, direct connections which include additional pipe, and various interconnections. Construction of the water mains and interconnections will generally utilize a combination of Directional Drill trenchless technology and open trench methods. All demolition and restoration of driveways, sidewalk, pavement, landscaping, and other work associated with the installation of the water main and services are included in the utility work as described herein.
